I just want to thank you for assigning Henry and his team as my construction crew. I’ve had a lot of work done on my townhouse, by various companies, and of all the crew leads, Henry ranks as number one. He was always friendly, on time and kept me fully informed of what was happening. He was even pro-active by going out and getting a different color threshold, making the entry into the bathroom seamless. I was even impressed by the daily cleaning at the end of the work day.  When I tell people how fast the work was done, they are all amazed.

If I had to identify just one thing about Henry’s work, it was his tile work. It is absolutely beautiful. There is no comparison between his work and that of Metropolitan Bath and Tile. Henry’s was evenly spaced and level, while MB&T had grout of various widths. But the best thing was not in the guest bathroom, which you were hired to do, but in correcting the work done by MB&T in my master bath. Nobody can tell that Henry tore out the trim and put another row of tile up to the ceiling.

When I showed my dinner party guests the guest bath Thursday night, everyone was impressed. When I showed them the extra work in my master bath, they couldn’t believe that the tile wasn’t always to the ceiling. That’s the gift of a true tile artist.

I have been remiss in writing this in regard to my experience with Two Poor Teachers. This is my second bathroom remodel, the first being with a high end design build company for our master bath. Two Poor Teachers started in late March on my guest bath. The experience was amazing.

I was in charge of getting the supplies and I worked with Jay and Henry’s crew. If it had not been for “supply” issues with Lowe’s the job would have been done in 4 days.

Henry’s crew was always there and on time. They worked from 7:00 to 3:30, cleaned up each day and always gave me helpful answers to my many questions. Henry even painted behind the toilet and beside the vanity before they were installed. Even when we ran into issues with the vanity the problem was solved and actually made for a better remodel.

Jay was always just a phone call away and when we ran into problems he was there to resolve them within the hour.

Without a doubt I would recommend and use Jay and Henry for any future work.

As many of you know, we just went through a two-bathroom remodel. Wow, does it look gorgeous! I think I'll move my TV in there so I can spend more time in the two most beautiful rooms in my house....

I wanted to refer this terrific company - Two Poor Teachers - I cannot say enough how pleased we are with them - on time, on schedule, within budget - polite, courteous, clean up every single day after working, etc. The two bathrooms took about 10 days to complete and that was with everything gutted and completely replaced. I will never use anyone but them for future enhancements.

I second that referral!!! We used Two Poor Teachers last year for our two upstairs bathrooms and they did a great job on ours also!! They still look good!! Good to hear you liked their work as well. We also found them to be reasonably priced which our wallet really liked!! They gave us a deal on the second bathroom and did it right after they finished the first so it worked out wonderfully!! We just had to scramble to pick out sink, tile, fixtures etc. But what a great finished product!!
